The crematorium is located in Eltham Cemetery, adjacent to the A2. However, there is no direct access route from the A2 to the crematorium, even from the Falconwood exit.

Please note that some satnav systems do not correctly recognise the crematorium's postcode please use postcode SE9 2NL. This will bring you to the entrance of the crematorium which is on Crown Woods Way, not the A2 Rochester Way.

Route from the M25 (anti-clockwise)

• Turn off at junction three (A20) towards Blackwall Tunnel
• Approximately seven miles from the M25, turn right at the major traffic lights into Southwood Road (signed for New Eltham)
• Continue straight on into Avery Hill Road (passing the University of Greenwich on the left)
• Cross over Bexley Road (A210) into Crown Woods Way
• Turn left into the crematorium at the top of Crown Woods Way
• The average time from junction three of the M25 is 20 minutes

Route from M25 (clockwise)

• Turn off at junction two (A2) towards the Blackwall Tunnel
• Turn off the A2 at Danson Interchange (A221). At the second roundabout take the Blackfen Road (A210) towards Eltham
• At the junction of Bexley Road (A210) and Avery Hill Road (B2214), turn right onto Crown Woods Way
• Turn left into the crematorium at the top of Crown Woods Way
• The average time from junction two of the M25 is 20 minutes, but delays can occur in the Blackfen area and increase the journey time by 10 minutes

Route from the Blackwall Tunnel

• After the Kidbrooke interchange, turn off the A102 (M) from the Blackwall Tunnel onto the A205 (South Circular Road) towards Lewisham
• At the roundabout turn left onto Eltham Hill (A210)
• Eltham Hill continues into Eltham High Street and then Bexley Road
• At Riefield Road, which is on the left, opposite Avery Hill Park there are two sets of traffic lights. At the second set of lights turn left into Crown Woods Way
• Turn left into the crematorium at the top of Crown Woods Way
• The average time from the Blackwall Tunnel is 30 minutes

By train

Southeastern Trains services depart from London to Dartford via Bexleyheath. Our nearest station is Falconwood, which is on this line. There is a pedestrian entrance into the cemetery just a few minutes walk from Falconwood Station. Follow the direction sign along Riefield Road, turn left when you reach the A2 slip road. The pedestrian entrance is approximately 100 yards on the right.

By bus

The nearest bus stop is Falconwood station.
