Crematorium opening times

Eltham Crematorium and Cemetery remain open 7 days a week from 9am to 7pm until further notice.

The Flower Pavilion remain closed until further notice.

Due to the large number of floral tributes normally placed in the Flower Pavilion an additional space has been created where flowers can be left. This area is located in the Garden of Remembrance against the rear wall of the North Cloisters by the large oak tree, located to the right as you enter the grounds.

There is a limit of 60 mourners to all funeral services, up to 30 mourners are allowed inside our Chapels (dependent on family / support bubbles) and 30 mourners, maintaining social distancing, are allowed to stand outside the Chapels. 

Those who are experiencing coronavirus symptoms must not attend.

All visitors, mourners and Funeral Directors are required to maintain social distancing and the wearing of a face covering is mandatory for all mourners as per government legislation.

The scattering of ashes, stone settings and wakes are now limited to a maximum of 30 attendees.

The crematorium office is open to Funeral Directors but closed to visitors:

Appointments for the family to collect or inter cremated remains in the Garden of Remembrance are available by contacting the office on 020 8921 6700, between the hours from 9am – 4pm Monday to Friday.

It is closed on weekends and bank holidays.
