Get financial support for childcare
You could get financial support for childcare costs from the government.
Free early learning
Free early learning places are available in Royal Greenwich for some two-year-olds and all three and four-year-old children.
You could get up to £500 every three months for each of your children to help with childcare costs.
This goes up to £1,000 every three months if a child is disabled.
Young mothers and families
If you are aged between 16 and 21 and have a child or are pregnant, you can get support from us.
Support through children's centres
You can find free or low-cost activities for families with children aged under five at one of our 23 children's centres around the borough.
Clothing and school trip grants
You might be able to get school clothing grants or school journey grants for your child.
