Holiday food and fun 

You can get free healthy food and activities for school-aged children and young people (aged four to 16-years-old) during the Easter, summer and winter school holidays from 2022-2024.

You can take your child to a free and fun adventure play park in the borough, under the supervision of qualified, experienced play leaders.

Young Greenwich 

Children and young people aged between eight and 19 (up to 25 for people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) can attend youth hubs and take part in free or affordable activities, trips and classes through Young Greenwich.

You could get a 50% discounted membership at Greenwich Libraries and Leisure Centres (GLL) if you work or study in Royal Greenwich and are eligible.

GLL sports development programme

GLL is a social enterprise aimed at improving the physical, mental, and social wellbeing of local communities. The programme uses a range of leisure centres, community centres and local parks and open spaces to deliver sessions at low or no costs. There are various strands to the programme, including:

  • a comprehensive weekly community programme, 
  • activities for older adults, and 
  • inclusive activities for people with disabilities.
