Using the toilet 

If your toilet is too high, too low or is hard to reach or use, we may recommend: 

• a high pan toilet

• a toilet chair (commode)

• wash dry toilet or wash dry fitting on a standard toilet 
• level handled flush 

Sink or basin 

If your sink or basin is too high or too low, we may recommend:  

• replacing it with one that is a suitable height 
• long handled washing aid  
• perching stool  
• adjustable height sinks or basins 

Bath or shower 

If it’s hard to get in or out of your bath or shower, we may recommend: 

• a bath or shower board for seated access 
• bath step 
• grab rails 
• non-slip mat 
• over the bath shower 
• lever taps 
• bath lift 
• level access shower 
• swivel bath seat 
• weighted shower curtain
