What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is that I am able to make a positive difference in someone's life using my skills to show my clients how to look and feel good and fill them with confidence.
The way we work is very simple. I have a mobile makeup studio that is driven to clients’ chosen locations to beautify ladies. I am able to give work to other mothers and train young adults in Royal Greenwich, teaching them transferable skills, so they may be able to open their own business one day.
A tip for women who want to start their own business?
I would encourage anyone to open a business, especially ladies. We have so many skills we can bring to the table, business is about multitasking and organising and women are naturally amazing at this. Dare to dream and write it down, then this dream becomes a goal. Push forward and achieve your goals, never settle push forward and shine
My tip for women who would like to become makeup artist would be bold and never stop learning believe in your skills and abilities and always remain professional. Get business coaching and talk to other established artists.
The most important thing is to love what you do! I absolutely love my work. I love that mix of people that I have come across in my 27 years of makeup artistry, from all walks of life, ages and ethnicity. However, everyone has one thing in common: we all just want to feel good and be beautiful. I can help you achieve that.
