In 2050:
- the things you need for a good life are close at hand wherever you live in the borough. This includes a safe, secure and affordable home, good local services, green space, places to work and shop, and easy ways to get around without relying on a car
- new neighbourhoods have been built as whole places from the start, and older ones have been renewed without losing their character or their communities
- our streets are clean, green and resilient to a changing climate. Every household is connected to the digital world
- neighbourhoods are built to last for the next generation. With warm, energy-efficient homes, more trees and green space, streets ready for a changing climate, less waste and cleaner air
- residents have a say in how their neighbourhood changes, and are proud to call it home
