- newcomers are welcome, and long-standing communities feel their history and contribution are recognised and respected
- people from different walks of life meet, mix and look out for one another. The diversity of the borough is reflected in those who lead it and shape its decisions
- everyone in our borough is safe and feels safe
- residents share a pride in Greenwich’s past and a stake in its future, and feel they have a genuine voice in the borough they call home
