  4. Step 4:

    Work out what you need to pay

  5. Step 5:

    Submit your application

    You can do this online or by post.

    Checking your application

    We'll review your application and write to you within two weeks.

    We ask the public to comment on your application

    We give the public the chance to tell us their thoughts about your proposal.

    Site visit and assessment

    The planning officer will visit the location to make sure the proposal is acceptable.

    We make our decision

    We aim to make a decision within 8 weeks for minor applications and within 13 weeks for major applications.

    Make an appeal if you wish to
