Overview

If your business is in a controlled parking zone (CPZ), you may be eligible for a business parking permit for vehicles that are used for business reasons.

There are three types of business permits:

  • Emissions based business permits, for 1 vehicle
  • Multi vehicle business permits, for up to 10 vehicles but only 1 can use the permit at a time
  • All zones business permits, for 1 vehicle or up to 10 vehicles

Both types of business permits are virtual permits and are valid for 12 months from the chosen start date.

A business permit is only valid in the CPZ it was issued for unless it is an all zones permit. An all zones permit is valid is all CPZ’s within the Royal Borough of Greenwich and can be used in any permit bay.

Having a permit does not guarantee you a parking space or give you the right to park outside your business.

Who can apply

Your business must be registered at an address in a CPZ in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

Enter the postcode of your registered business address to find out more information about business permits in your CPZ, including how much they cost. Not all addresses in a CPZ are entitled to a permit.

How much it costs

In most of Royal Greenwich, your permit price is based on:

  • your vehicle's carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions
  • if your vehicle is registered with DVLA as a commercial vehicle

Check business parking permit prices for your vehicle

Multi vehicle and all zones business permit prices are the same for all vehicles.

  • Multi vehicle business permits cost £825.
  • All zones business permits cost £1500 for 1 vehicle or £1800 for up to 10 vehicles.

Permit prices in Abbey Wood, Blackheath Standard, Charlton, Eltham North and Westcombe Park will change at a later date. This is because these CPZs are going through a review process. You can find your permit price for these areas in our CPZ fees directory
