Before you start
Create an online account
You will need to create an online account the first time you use this service. This account is different from the one you usually use on our website, and there are 4 types:
- Resident
- Business
- Staff
- Non-resident
The type of account you need will depend on the type of permit you need.
When you create an account, you can apply for any permit available under that account type. You can create more than one account, for example if you need a resident permit and a business permit, but you must use a different email address for each.
Resident account
You should create a resident account if you live in the borough, and you need to apply for or renew:
- resident permits
- visitor vouchers
- Blue Badge parking permits
- car park permits
- tradesperson permits
- resident business permits
- electric vehicle permits
- carer permits
- nanny permits
- a dispensation to park on a yellow line
Business account
You should create a business account if your business is based in the borough, and you need to apply for or renew:
- business parking permits, including multi vehicle business permits and all zones business permits
- car park permits
- tradesperson permits
- a dispensation to park on a yellow line
Staff account
You should create a staff account if you work for the Royal Borough of Greenwich, and you need to apply for or renew:
- car park permits
- council CPZ permits
- a dispensation to park on a yellow line
Non-resident account
You should create a non-resident account if you do not live in the borough, and you need to apply for or renew:
- all zones parking permits
- car park permits
- doctor bay permits
- a dispensation to park on a yellow line
