• give you advice about finding a new home 
• offer you a short-term place to stay while you find a new long-term home

If we offer you temporary accommodation 

This will be a short-term place to stay. It cannot always meet all your household's preferences. You may need to: 

• move out of the borough or London 
• move at short notice multiple times 
• stay somewhere with limited cooking facilities 
• share with other people; for example, in a hostel 
• rehome your pets
