Pay your Royal Borough bills online
You can use our online payments system to pay your Royal Borough of Greenwich bills or fines using a debit card or credit card (except American Express).
Here are some of the things you can pay using this system, by selecting the type of item you wish to pay:
- Council Tax
- Business Rates
- parking fines
- housing and garage rents
- benefits invoices
- other Royal Borough invoices.
You can also apply and pay for the following services online:
- order household recycling sacks
- renew a residents' parking permit
- renew a business parking permit
- request a land charges search
- apply for a domestic crossover
- apply for a scaffolding or hoarding licence
- apply for a skip licence (only for approved skip companies)
Security and maintenance
The online payment service is available all hours daily except between 6.55pm and 7.25pm to update the system.
Cards that do not support 3D Secure - such as M&S Credit Card and John Lewis Partnership Card - may be rejected. 3D Secure provides an extra layer of security for MasterCard and Visa cards.
There is also a telephone payment service on 0300 332 0202, and it is available during the same hours.
Real time transaction
Whether made over the telephone or the internet all transactions will be validated and authorised in real time and confirmation of the transaction being accepted will be provided to you (by email if you are paying online).
For convenience, you can also set up Direct Debits for council housing charges, Council Tax and Business Rates.

To pay by post, follow the instructions on your bill to pay by cheque or postal order
You can also pay in person using cash, postal orders, cheques (supported by a valid bank card) or credit/debit cards at the Royal Borough's customer service centres.
