Gender reassignment

The 2021 Census reported that there are 3,432 people (0.88% of the population) living in Royal Greenwich who have a gender identity different to their biological sex. 

The 2021 Census reported that 262,000 (0.5%) of the UK population answered no to the question “Is the gender you identify with the same as your sex registered at birth?”. 

Gender dysphoria is a term that describes a sense of unease that a person may have because of a mismatch between their biological sex and their gender identity.
