Apply

The application process has 3 stages: 

  1. Email us before you apply. 
  2. Fill in and send the correct application forms. 
  3. Pay for your licence. 

Email us before you apply 

Tell us:  

  • what you plan to sell, for example clothes, food or crafts
  • how you plan to sell, for example from a trailer, stall or van
  • your preferred trading days and times
  • any relevant experience of street trading or similar activies 
  • your contact details including your name, phone number and email

Fill in and send the correct application form 

The form you need depends on the type of licence you need and where you want to trade.  

If someone will be working with you, known as a 'trading assistant', you'll need to fill in a separate form for them. 

Download and fill in the application form for the licence you need.  

Fill out the form in block capitals. 

Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Send it by email to the address on the form with your supporting documents. 

We'll contact you to let you know if your application is successful or not. If it is, we'll then ask you to pay for your licence.
