How much it costs
This table shows the fees for residential dropped kerbs from 1 April 2026:

| Residential domestic dropped kerb in a controlled parking zone (CPZ) and amendment to the existing traffic order | £3,737 to cover the cost of the consultation and order-making process, and amendments to signing a lining |
There's an extra charge for a dropped kerb extension if we need to remove or reposition street furniture.
Quotations are valid for 3 months.
After 3 months, if we have not received full payment, you'll need to pay a £50 administration fee.
You will not need to pay another inspection fee unless it's:
- more than 12 months since we granted permission
- a new financial year (beginning 1 April)
These charges are subject to annual review.
