Crisis and Resilience Fund

About the Crisis and Resilience Fund

We use funding from the government’s Crisis and Resilience Fund to support residents in Royal Greenwich who are facing financial difficulties.

This includes help in emergencies, support with housing costs, and advice to improve your financial situation.

The funding runs from April 2026 to March 2029. We're using the funding in a range of schemes.

How we use the funding

Crisis Payments

Our Crisis Payment Scheme provides discretionary support to Royal Greenwich residents in difficult times. For example, after a crisis like a house fire or if you’re temporarily struggling with essential payments.

If you're looking for support with housing costs, you should apply for a Housing Payment or Council Tax hardship payment.
