How we monitor noise level limits on large construction sites
We can also set maximum noise levels at specific locations. These are normally outside noise sensitive properties nearest to the construction activities.
The developer must take noise measurements at these locations regularly, usually twice a day, and send the results to us every week.
If noise exceeds the maximum level, the developer must take action to lower it. They must record the action they take and tell us.
