Request an antisocial behaviour case review
If you’ve reported antisocial behaviour (ASB) 3 times, you can ask for a review. This looks at what’s being done to resolve the problem.
When you can ask for a review
You can do this if:
- you've reported the problem 3 times or more
- you reported it at least once in the last 6 months
- each report was about something that happened in the month before you reported it
- you reported it to us, the police, a housing association or a mixture of these
All these criteria must apply.
The review is not a way to complain or report ASB.
What happens next
We’ll let you know when we’ve received your request.
We’ll then decide if your case meets the criteria for a review. We’ll let you know within 4 working days of receiving your request.
If we decide to review your case
A panel will review the case within 15 working days of your request.
They'll look at the ASB you’ve reported and what’s been done about it so far.
They can decide whether to make recommendations. These may include further action or things that other services can do to help.
After the review
We’ll let you know what the panel decides within 2 working days of the meeting.
Services must consider the panel’s recommendations but do not have to follow them. If they do not, they must give clear reasons why.
We'll monitor the progress of the case monthly with relevant partner services.
About the review panel
The panel is made up of at least 3 different services. The Chair will be someone from a service that has not been involved with the case.
We share a duty to review the work done to resolve ASB with the police and NHS Clinic Commissioning Group.
If we decide not to review your case
We’ll let you know the reasons why and what to do if you’d like us to reconsider the decision. We’ll also take the case to the next High Harm Case Panel for ASB to check if there’s anything else we can do.
