- work in partnership with you to build the capacity needed to make and sustain improvements

Service details
Improvement Partner Programme (IPP)
We allocate an improvement partner to your school. This person is your main point of contact for all improvement work. They provide 3 days of support across the academic year. Visits are planned to meet your school’s needs.
What the support includes:
- discussing and agreeing the support you need for the year
- providing email and telephone support
- carrying out teaching and learning reviews
- supporting leadership development at all levels
- helping you prepare for Ofsted inspections
- helping you share effective practice

School peer review
You can use one of the half-day visits to take part in a school peer review at no extra cost.
This peer review:
- provides quality assurance for a specific priority in your school improvement plan
- is facilitated by us
- is carried out by leaders from other schools
- involves a focused review on the impact of improvement work at your school
Schools have previously focused on areas such as:
- supporting disadvantaged pupils
- wellbeing and personal development
- phonics

Headteacher Performance Management (HPM)
This package supports school governors with their statutory duty to complete headteacher performance management.
It includes:
- external advisor preparation before the visit
- a half-day visit by an external advisor
- a written report summarising discussions and agreed objectives

We offer additional, bespoke improvement support to meet your needs.
If your school already receives our IPP support:
- you get a 10% discount on additional support in same academic year
- speak to your improvement partner to discuss your needs
