Resources for schools, professionals and the community

We commission workshops in education and community settings across the borough for young people, parents and residents. They aim to:

  • share important prevention messaging around how to keep safe

  • increase resilience against becoming victims of violence and exploitation

  • equip people with skills to save lives

Workshops from Growing Against Violence (GAV)

The charity aims to prevent youth violence and protect young people from exploitation on the streets and online. They deliver age-appropriate workshops in schools and colleges for pupils and teachers.

Emergency first aid with Street Doctors

Street Doctors is an award-winning national charity which trains young people affected by violence in emergency first-aid. They empower young people at risk with the skills to become part of the solution to violence, rather than just being seen as ‘part of the problem’.

Knife Crime Toolkit to support work with young people

Choose the intervention sessions that apply to the needs and circumstances of the young people you’re working with. You can adapt each session for one to one or group settings, as needed.
