The Royal Borough of Greenwich is proud to support our local LGBTQ+ community with fostering young people.

We’re again supporting New Family Social’s annual LGBTQ+ fostering awareness campaign and encouraging residents from all backgrounds to consider changing a child’s life with fostering.

There are hundreds of young people in Royal Greenwich who are currently in our care and we are committed to building a happy, inclusive borough filled with loving families.

Councillor Matt Morrow, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: “Fostering is lifechanging for everyone involved so I am so pleased that we are once again supporting this campaign.

“At Royal Greenwich we welcome applications from residents, and your sexuality and gender have no impact on your chances to foster. If you can give a child the time, patience and love that they deserve, you could be a foster carer with us.
