Submit the questions you want answers to for AskGreenwich 2022. This is a fantastic opportunity to open a dialogue with the Leader, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Members.

People across Royal Greenwich are invited to ask Leader of the Council, Cllr Danny Thorpe, Deputy Leader, Cllr Denise Scott-McDonald and various other Cabinet Members about matters important to them.

From the key challenges and opportunities for the borough to how the change of COVID-19 rules has affected our day to day lives, a Facebook live stream Q&A will take place on Tuesday 1 March, between 6pm and 8pm.

This is a fantastic opportunity to hear about what the Council is doing to improve the lives of residents; it is also a vital way for council representatives to engage with communities across Royal Greenwich.

Leader of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Cllr Danny Thorpe said:

“This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who lives, works, or studies in the borough to have their say on critical changes. The Big Conversation covers so many services close to the hearts of residents, from making you feel safer, to improving transport links, and from planning for climate change to providing more affordable zero carbon homes.

“We are painfully aware that relentless Government cuts to our budget for 2022-23 means that difficult decisions will have to be made, but this also means we need your feedback more than ever to identify the policy issues that are important to residents in our most accessible format.

“We encourage residents to get involved in any way they can, this could be through social media, email or even by sending in a pre-recorded video question. This is your chance to open a dialogue with us on matters that are important to you and your local community.”

So, whether you are concerned about a loved one, want to know more about the youth activities available, confused about the new COVID-19 safety measures or want updates on ongoing services, you can submit your questions by filling in the form HERE.

You can also get involved by emailing askgreenwich@royalgreenwich.gov.uk or using the hashtag #AskGreenwich.

You can watch live on the RBG Facebook page, while you do not need to be signed in to watch, you do need to be signed in to comment on the videos.

Following the session, the video will be shared on our Youtube page where you can also watch back previous sessions.

The deadline for submitting questions is Tuesday 22 February.
