Some of the borough’s community centres and voluntary organisations will be opening their doors to welcome anyone looking for good food and good company at Christmas.

John Roan students are hosting a free Christmas event, open to anyone. There will be an ugly jumper competition, food and games.

For anyone in need; come along for clothes, toiletries and food. A minibus will pick all attendees up at 2pm on the day from Woolwich Central Baptist Church, Simmons Road, SE18 6UX.

Come and enjoy free Christmas dinner, games and a whole lot of good company.
