Greenwich Police’s annual Christmas Tree appeal has started and we are working with them to provide a Christmas present to disadvantaged children and teenagers across the borough.

Last year 800 presents were distributed to disadvantaged children in Greenwich, so thank you all for your incredible generosity.

We are now asking if you can help us again by donating a gift – without these gifts some children would not be receiving a present on Christmas morning. If you would like to donate, visit the Met Police Christmas Tree appeal webpage to be allocated a child to buy a gift for.

Any gifts of toys, toiletries, clothes or vouchers are greatly appreciated. Presents will need to be checked before being delivered to local children, therefore, we ask that you do not wrap your donations.

Greenwich Police will be accepting donations until Thursday 12 December. Please drop off your donations at one of the following locations:

  • Woolwich Town Hall, Wellington Street, SE18 – Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
  • Plumstead Police Station, 200 Plumstead High Street, SE18 1JY – open 24 hours
  • The Greenwich Centre, 12 Lambarade square, SE10 9HB – Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
  • The Eltham Centre, 2 Archery Road, Eltham, SE9 1HA – Mon-Fri 6.30am-10pm
