Some organisations and residents can pass through areas in the borough which have a neighbourhood management scheme without getting a penalty charge notice.
You will need to apply for an exemption permit to be exempt. This is also called a "Resident LTN".
Vehicles will be exempt if they’re:
- emergency vehicles
- school buses
- taxi cabs (hackney carriages)
- private hire vehicles registered with Transport for London (TfL)
You may also be exempt if:
- you’re a Blue Badge holder or an organisation that qualifies for a Blue Badge
- you or a child you're travelling with has a chronic health condition that means sitting in a car on a longer journey causes additional distress
- you're a professional carer whose ability to help the person they care for is impacted by a neighbourhood management scheme
- your organisation is to transport disabled people or people with access needs
You can only have 1 vehicle registration on the permit. If you change vehicle, you can only change this on the permit once.
