You can get a Blue Badge if you get certain benefits or have certain disabilities or medical conditions. You must apply online. 

You're eligible if you get: 

• the higher rate mobility component of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) 
• Personal Independence Payment (PIP), with 8 points or more for moving around 
• the War pensions Mobility Supplement 
• a Guaranteed Income Payment (GIP) or you got a lump sum from the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (AFCS) 

You're eligible if you: 

• are blind or partially sighted 
• have a terminal illness  

You'll need to provide proof of your eligibility. 

You may also be eligible if you have: 

• a severe disability in both arms and cannot use parking meters, or you have a lot of difficulty using them  
• substantial and long-term difficulty walking 
• a hidden disability 

You'll need to provide proof of your condition.
