To borrow, you will need your library card number and PIN. If you are not a member, you can join the library online.

You can reserve and renew library books and DVDs and check library stock using the online library catalogue.

Telephone renewals, reservation and information service

Royal Greenwich libraries have a 24-hour telephone renewal service. You can use the service to renew books, hear library information and track reservations.

To use the service, call library telephone renewals and follow the instructions.

How to borrow eBooks and audiobooks

There are two websites that you can borrow audio and eBooks from:

Overdrive (eBooks and audiobooks)

Overdrive is free to use and you can borrow up to five eBooks or audiobooks at any one time. You can also reserve eBooks and audiobooks on the website.

Borrowing times are different for each book. It's usually seven to 14 days for audio books and 14 to 21 days for eBooks.

How to download music from Freegal

You can download up to three music tracks a week from the Freegal website using your library card and pin.
