About these new homes

Each home has access to fibre broadband but you will need to pay for this separately as it is not included in the rent.

Parking 

There will be 144 parking spaces shared between Royal Greenwich and PAH for the 304 homes within the development.

  • 13 of these will be disabled parking spaces.
  • 30 spaces will have access to EV charging. 
Parking will be available from July 2025 (subject to change) and not all households will be allocated a space due to capacity.
 
You will need a parking permit to park in one of these spaces. Details about the parking scheme and the application process will be provided closer to the time.

The area has excellent bus and train links, taking under an hour to get to central London on public transport.

Woolwich Dockyard station is 0.4 miles away, which is about an 8 minute walk. This station runs trains to Dartford, London Cannon Street, London Bridge and Slade Green.

Charlton station is 0.6 miles away, which is about a 12 minute walk. This station runs trains to London Cannon Street, Slade Green, Luton and parts of Kent.

Libraries

The Woolwich Centre Library is 1.3 miles away, which is about a 5 minute drive, 10 minutes on public transport or a 25 minute walk.

All of our libraries are free to join and they offer lots of activities for people of all ages. 

Hospital and GP surgeries

Queen Elizabeth Hospital is 1.2 miles away, which is about a 5 minute drive, 15 minutes on public transport or a 25 minute walk.

Arts and culture

Thames-side Studios is 0.6 miles away, which is about a 10 minute walk. This is the UK's largest site of artist and maker spaces.

Tramshed is 1.4 miles away, which is about a 5 minute drive, 10 minutes on public transport or a 25 minute walk. This is a theatre company and community arts hub.

Woolwich Works is 2.4 miles away, which is about a 10 minute drive or 15 minutes on public transport. This is a space for events, comedy nights, theatre, live music and much more.

The O2 is 2.7 miles away, which is about a 10 minute drive or 20 minutes on public transport. This space contains one of of the largest concert arenas in the country, as well as a cinema, many diverse restaurants and shops.

The Cutty Sark is 3.3 miles away, which is about a 15 minute drive or 25 minutes on public transport. This is a 19th Century ship which is now a visitor attraction and museum.

Parks and green spaces

Maryon Park is 0.3 miles away, which is about a 7 minute walk. Maryon Park is one of Greenwich's Green Flag Award-winning sites. Formerly a quarry, it was once part of the estate of the Maryon Wilson family, former Lords of the Manor of Charlton. This large, hilly wooded site overlooks the Thames with the Green Chain Walk running through it. It has a children's playground, basketball court and hard-surface tennis courts. 

Maryon Wilson Park is 0.4 miles away, which is about a 10 minute walk. This beautifully landscaped park contains both grassland and woodlands - all in a valley setting. Maryon Wilson Park also has an animal park with ducks, geese, chickens, goats, pigs, and even a deer enclosure. The Green Chain Walk runs through the site. 

Gilbert's Pit is 0.4 miles away, which is about a 10 minute walk. The geology of Gilbert's Pit makes it a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Formerly a quarry, it was part of the Maryon Wilson family estate.

Peninsular Retail Park is 1.5 miles away, which is about a 5 minute drive, 10 minutes on public transport or a 25 minute walk. This is a retail area containing shops like M&S, Pets At Home, Next, Aldi, Primark and TK Maxx. 

Asda superstore Charlton is 1.5 miles away, which is about a 5 minute drive, 10 minutes on public transport or a 25 minute walk. 

B&Q and Ikea are 1.9 miles away, which is about a 10 minute drive, 15 minutes on public transport or a 30 minute walk. 

There is easy access to main shopping areas and central London by local bus and Underground links.
