Council interpreting and translation services

The Royal Borough of Greenwich has streamlined its interpreting and translation service. The Royal Greenwich Interpreting Service (RGIS) now provides the whole range of services, including access to British Sign Language interpreters and advice on how to access Language Line.

Our pool of registered translators and interpreters are professionally qualified and are regularly tested for competency.

Our services include:

  • face to face interpreting
  • written translations
  • British Sign Language interpreters
  • audio transcription
  • advice on how to access Language Line
  • telephone interpreting
  • British Sign Language interpreting duty.

You can also contact the Royal Borough using sign language with the SignVideo service.
