How much a property licence costs
This depends on the type of licence.
Selective licence
The selective licence costs £872.59.
HMO licence
We calculate the HMO licence fee based on how many lettings, or ‘units’ you rent out.
Use this table as a guide:

| HMO licence - up to 5 lettings | £508.50 per letting |
| HMO licence - 6 or more lettings | £508.50 per letting for the first 5 £305.10 for every extra letting |
| HMO licence renewal | 15% off per-letting cost |
The fees are VAT exempt.
How to pay
You'll pay the fee in 2 stages. We take the first half when you apply and the rest when we issue your draft licence.
We do not offer any instalment plans.
