About Holiday Food and Fun
The Holiday Food and Fun (HAF) programme provides free activities and nutritious meals for eligible children and young people during the school holidays.
Activities take place during the:
- Easter holidays
- summer holidays
- Christmas holidays
Children and young people can take part in activities, make friends, learn new skills and enjoy healthy meals.
The programme is funded by the Department for Education.
Who can take part in Holiday Food and Fun
Your child may be eligible for Holiday Food and Fun if they:
- are aged 4 to 16
- live in or go to school in Royal Greenwich
- receive targeted benefits-related free school meals
Some places may also be available for children and young people who do not receive targeted free school meals but need additional support.
Targeted free school meals
Targeted free school meals are available to eligible children from households in receipt of Universal Credit with annual household earnings of £7,400 or less.

Children and young people with SEND
We aim to make Holiday Food and Fun activities as inclusive as possible.
Many activity providers can adapt their sessions for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
There are also some specialist places for children and young people who need additional support.
If your child has additional needs, it's important you share detailed information in advance through the registration form with activity providers.
If you're unsure whether an activity can meet your child's needs, check the activity information when bookings open, contact the activity provider or email holiday-programme@royalgreenwich.gov.uk.
