Spend some 'me time' create your own vintage fashion artwork.
In this workshop, you will learn the art of creating your own vintage style fashion collage using decorative papers, pre-loved magazines and book illustrations, card, and embellishments. With no experience necessary, this class is perfect for beginners who want to spend a few hours of "me time" in a fun and relaxing environment.
Under the guidance of Janey, you will be introduced to various techniques and tips to help you bring your imagination to life. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of materials and equipment, all of which will be provided. Throughout the class, Janey will create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere, alleviating any fears you may have about trying something new. Whether you are a seasoned artist or just starting out, this workshop is designed to be a no-pressure experience that allows you to unleash your creativity.
By the end of the class, you will take home your own beautiful artwork, enhanced with an A3 mount to make it ready for framing. This experience offers you a chance to explore your artistic side and create something truly unique. Join us for this limited space workshop and let your creativity shine.
Attendee will get:
- A chance to meet new people in an historic venue overlooking the Thames.
- Have a glass of wine or a cuppa and share stories.

Attendees should bring:
- You are welcome to bring any photos, postcards or images you like to include or inspire your own work.
- Please bring left handed scissors if you need them.
- A bag to take your work home in.
Janey Trained in Theatre Design, her love of hands on creating, led her in to the world of theatre prop making. Since going freelance she has made props, puppets, masks, dogs, cats, fake food, and sculpted pieces for The Royal Opera House,The Old Vic .National Theatre,E.N.O. Film work -The Great, Hulu, Victoria ITV, The Big Flower Fight, Netflix, Great Expectations, B.B.C.
As a life long collage lover and collage artist she has exhibited at The Affordable Art Fair, Frieze Art Fair, Dulwich Picture Gallery, The Art Car Boot Fair, Maritme Museum, Ben Oakley Gallery, Cue B solo show. Janey has led numerous art workshops for The Royal Opera House,Ikea, Baker Street Quarter, Mycenae House. She has work in the UK and overseas.
