BD Art, a company of artists formed in response to the death of art during the pandemic, presents Four Seasons, a ballet performed to live music.
Four Seasons is a breathtaking production that interweaves the worlds of ballet and opera in four parts.
Beginning in Winter, the black swan, representing the modern age, separates humanity from its soul which, without human form, takes the shape of a white swan. A heart-rending struggle ensues as humanity attempts to reunite with its soul.
Moving into Spring, we see the awakening of life with rain and sun healing the wounds of Winter. Summer follows with its hot, tempestuous nature and a bitter battle for love before ending in Autumn a celebration of colour and the rich tapestry the seasons of life have to offer.
BD Art is a company comprising various types of artists from ballet dancers to musicians to fine art painters. We aim to bring hope and beauty to everyone through both our performances and our support of charities.
Our Four Seasons production is in aid of Oaks and Acorns in Harmony who provide holistic family empowerment services for children, young people and parents of African descent living in the London Borough of Lewisham and surrounding areas.
