Woolwich Carnival is an annual celebration of community and culture in September, where residents come to celebrate the borough's diversity. Expect music, dance and workshops throughout the day in General Gordon Square and a finale parade around the town centre in Woolwich.

• 11.30am to 2.30pm - carnival masks, hats and decoration making
• 12 noon - dance workshop
• 1pm - drumming workshop
• 2.30pm - Tony UrbanSmah on steel pans
• 3.30 to 6pm - carnival masks, hats and decoration making
• 3.0pm - drumming workshop
• 4pm - dance workshop
• 4.30pm - Tony UrbanSmah on steel pans
• 5.15pm - drumming workshop
• 6.15pm - Baque de Axe drumming parade
• 7pm - parade finishes
