The gospel and jazz-inspired singer returns to Woolwich with an exciting new body of work

At just twenty Lucy-Anne Daniels has begun making her mark on the UK jazz scene, playing at notable venues such as Ronnie Scotts and Pizza Express Soho. This spring she sold out her debut show at Cheltenham Jazz Festival and most recently made her international debut at her Dizzy’s Jazz Club in New York. Grounded by the vibrant sounds of gospel and jazz, yet flowing freely between an array of styles, rich vocals and vivid storytelling lie at the heart of Lucy-Anne’s music. She's able to instantly whisk audiences away with her effortless control of melody, and rawness and intimacy of her music. Lucy-Anne will explore newly written songs and reimagined standards, incorporating spoken word, free improvisations and vocal fx.
