‘Spotlight’ is a free health awareness event hosted by the African and Caribbean Medical Societies of King's College London and University College London
The African Caribbean Medical Societies of UCL and KCL are hosting a health awareness event called ‘Spotlight’ on Saturday 1 of April at KCL’s London Bridge Campus (Guy’s).
The aim of the event is to shine a light on some of the health conditions that disproportionately affect Black communities and share with attendees strategies to empower them to take control of their health.
The event will run from 10am to 3pm and will consist of two halves: seminar style presentations in the morning and interactive workshops in the afternoon. The event is open to all members of the community and is totally free of charge.
Please purchase your free ticket via the eventbrite page which will detail a list of guests and topics to be covered on the day.
