Traditional carol service by candlelight, featuring professional singers from across London, and lots of classic carols for everyone to join in singing.
At 6pm on Sunday 18th December, the parish church of St John the Baptist will be holding its annual candlelit carol service. All are welcome to join for an atmospheric evening of festive music, readings, and congregational carols, featuring our church choir joined by professional singers from across London. Everyone will be invited to join in singing the old favourites such as O Little Town of Bethlehem, O Come All Ye Faithful, Hark the Herald and more. The service will follow the traditional Nine Lessons and Carols pattern, and mince pies and mulled wine will be served afterwards.
