SE London duos The Gillies (Susan Turner - vocals, banjo and tenor guitar. and Mark Evans (Gilly) - guitar, dobro and vocals) and Pytchwood (Zahira Al-Zahira - guitar, uke bass, whistle and vocals and Dave Kenningham - guitar, mandolin, bodhran and vocals) join forces as GillyWood to perform a range of their own songs plus those from artists such as John Denver, Dolly Parton and Fleetwood Mac. We’re so delighted that they’re back again this year! Join us for a really great evening of live music in the courtyard of historic Severndroog Castle, the only place you can enjoy a drink surrounded by ancient woodland and have 360° views of London and miles and miles beyond. A limited number of timed Premium Tickets are available for exclusive access to stunning twilight panoramic views of London from the viewing platform on top of the castle. Looking westward over the city on a clear day you can experience perfect sunsets. Themed food and drink will be available to buy from Severndroog’s partner The Terrace Tearoom from 6.30pm. Their celebrated chef Christopher Hackett will be creating delicious food as well as providing wine and beer all evening. So arrive early, the music starts at 7.30pm. Free parking facilities available at The Castle Wood Car Park; it will remain open for the duration of this event.
