STEM Summer Workshop for the family to enjoy. STEM professionals offer valuable career advice, job opportunities and more.

Lauriann's STEM Club is excited to present a 1-day pop-up STEM Careers Surgery at The Exchange! If you have a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths, need help with GCSE subject choices, or are simply interested in finding out more about what a career in these fields might look like for you, then come on down!

This workshop is open to all who are interested in gaining more awareness about STEM, and is ideal for secondary school students, in particular women, and young people from minority ethnic backgrounds, as we love to encourage more diversity into STEM fields. We'll be offering the following support:

  • CV writing support and STEM careers advice
  • Extracurricular catch up guidance sessions in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths)
  • Advice direct from people working in STEM industries about what to expect from these lines of work
  • Routes into STEM
  • Are you on the right Pathway to a STEM career
  • STEM Further Education & careers options for 18+ School leavers
  • Advice about apprenticeships, placements and University. Tt the event there will be recent graduates and young professionals to talk to and free STEM-related giveaways and more!
