What we're thinking about building on this site

At Simnel Road we are building eight new council homes for people on our housing waiting list. The development will consist of:

• Seven two-bedroom terraced houses
• One three-bedroom terraced house
• 17 parking spaces for new and existing homes
• New trees and landscaping outside the front of the new homes.
• New refuse and storage facilities for new and existing residents

The two-bedroom homes will face north west to south east, parallel to the opposite existing two-storey residential block. 

Current status

The designs below have been approved by the Planning team. We are preparing the site for development

How can residents have their say on our plans?

Neighbouring residents were invited to view and comment on our proposals for this site in March 2023 via our online consultation. Our proposals have now been approved, details of the application can be viewed on our Planning Portal.
