If you rent or buy your own home, you'll need to pay Council Tax.

You can apply for a 50% discount if you're living in the UK with a Homes for Ukraine (HFU) visa.

Everyone in your household must have an HFU visa to get the discount.

You may also be able to apply for other support and benefits for people from Ukraine.

You must pay Council Tax while you wait for us to decide if you're eligible for a discount. If you do not pay, we'll start the Council Tax recovery process.

If you sponsor a Ukrainian family or individual

If you get a Council Tax discount or exemption because you're a sponsor under the HFU Sponsorship Scheme, it will not be affected.

You must always tell us about any change in your circumstances.
