Processing your application
We’ll review your application within 28 days.
We’ll notify you about which of the following decisions we’ve made.
Ask you to attend an interview
We may ask you to attend a 30-minute, informal interview. This is so we can better understand you and your business. We’ll contact you within 5 working days of the interview to let you know the outcome.
Decline your application
We may decline your application, but we’ll tell you the reasons for that. You can re-apply when we next open applications or you might want to contact one of the other markets that operate in the borough.
Paying for your licence
If your application is successful, we'll contact you about paying for your licence.
When you've paid:
- we'll send your licence and a stall card
- you must display the card clearly within your premises
