This depends on things like the number of habitable rooms in the property. There’s a charge per letting or ‘unit’ that you rent out. When you apply, we’ll calculate this.
Use this table as a guide:

The fees are VAT exempt. They cover the cost of administering and enforcing the licensing scheme. We review them regularly.
You'll pay the fee in 2 stages. We take the first half when you apply and the rest when we issue your draft licence.
You could get 15% off if you agree to lease or offer a tenancy to a tenant we nominate. This must be an assured shorthold tenancy for a minimum of 12 months.
We do not offer any other discounts or instalment plans.
