Data analysis support for schools

Overview

Our Performance Analysis Service (PAS) provide data analysis for schools.

We undertake a range of data analysis activities, including:

statutory data reporting for the termly school census
submission of early years and primary assessment data
analysis of assessment data

We offer:

a core service for all schools at no charge
a range of analysis packages and services available as part of a service agreement

Core offer

We do not charge for our core offer.

School census check for maintained schools

We provide:

data validation checks and liaison with schools to clear errors and queries
advice and guidance by email and phone

Submission of statutory assessment for all schools

We provide guidance to support the summer term data submission for:

Early Years Foundation Stage Profile (EYFSP)
Phonics
Key Stage 2 (KS2)

Service level agreement offer

We charge for our service level agreement offer.

Schools that buy a service level agreement package can contact us any time during the year to:

seek advice on the best use and interpretation of assessment data
understand how to use analysis and guidance for Ofsted inspection preparation

Primary schools data analysis and support package

This package consists of:

a 1-page results summary
EYFSP analysis pack
phonics analysis pack
Key Stage 2 (KS2) analysis pack
pupil premium gap analysis

We’ll release provisional versions of these document as data becomes available. Once data is confirmed, we’ll issue final versions.

Key Stage 1 (KS1) analysis

We no longer provide KS1 analysis as part of our core offer because it’s no longer a statutory assessment.

We’re aware that your school may still carry out some form of assessment at the end of KS1. If you buy the primary school package and provide pupil-level KS1 results, we can provide a basic data summary.

Secondary schools data analysis and support package

This package consists of:

a 1-page results summary
Key Stage 4 (KS4) analysis pack
Key Stage 5 (KS5) analysis pack (if applicable)
bespoke performance analysis (up to 1 day)

We’ll release provisional versions of these document as data becomes available. Once data is confirmed, we’ll issue final versions.

Special schools

We can provide analysis support for your special school, but we do not have a standard package. We’ll tailor a package to suit your specific needs.

School census checking for academy and free schools

We cannot access school census data for academies or free schools. If you want to purchase a school census check, you’ll need to grant us access to your data. You can opt for all terms or just certain terms.

Other services and support

We can also provide:

bespoke data analysis
analysis of school performance (ASP) training in school
multi-academy trust (MAT) level analysis

Costs

If your school is part of a MAT but not all schools in your MAT want to buy-in, we ask that you do not share the contents of our analysis packs across the MAT. This would be unfair on schools that pay for the service.
