The Department for Education publish secondary school performance tables every year. These tables provide information about the achievements of secondary school pupils at the age of 16.

What information is in the tables
Secondary school performance tables provide data and information about:
- results of GCSE and equivalent
- the proportion of pupils making expected progress in English and maths
- a value-added score, which compares progress made by pupils in the school compared with pupils nationally
- information about teaching staff and other members of the school workforce
- school income and expenditure
- current Ofsted grade, date of last inspection and a link to the Ofsted report
Post-16 performance tables provide data and information about the:
- achievements of students aged 16 to 18
- destination of students from school or college
