Report a child who is not receiving an education

Contact us if you believe a school-age child: 

• is not being educated at school or at home, or
• has not been in school or educated at home for 4 weeks or more

The importance of education

We want to make sure every child and young person in the borough has the opportunity to fulfil their potential. Receiving an education is an important part of this.

We are responsible for locating and supporting children who are missing education. We work with parents and carers and with other organisations to support children into education.
