Items not to put in your green top bin
You cannot get rid of these items in your green top bin:
- plastic bin liners, bags or sacks
- biodegradable or degradable bags or sacks
- compostable packaging
How to use your green top bin
You can use sacks made of paper or corn starch in your green top bin, or you can put your food and garden waste in loose.
Use only corn starch bags with the ‘compostable’ logo.
