You can use a computer for free at any Royal Greenwich library.
To access a computer, you must:
- be a library member
- book your session in advance or drop in
What you can use
Each computer gives you access to:
- the internet
- Microsoft Office 2010
- Picasa 3
- Adobe Reader XI
- Google Earth
- VLC media player
- Windows Media Player
Your work will not be saved when the computer restarts, so make sure to save everything to a USB stick or other removable device.
How long you can use a computer
You can use a computer for up to 2 hours per day. All computers shut down 15 minutes before the library closes.
How to book a computer
You can book in person at the library up to 3 days in advance.
Your booking will be held for 10 minutes. If you're late, the computer may be given to someone else.
Only one session can be booked per day. Some libraries also offer 15-minute drop-in sessions.
Charges and account balances
Computer use is free. But if you have unpaid charges on your library account, you’ll need to clear them before using a computer.
