The key documents we are seeking feedback on are:  

• DRAFT Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) will set out how the council will engage with residents, communities, businesses, local organisations and other groups throughout the planning process.  

• DRAFT Developers Engagement Charter (DEC) is proposed to be used by developers.  It provides advice on the level of detail which is expected from developers when carrying out consultations on major development schemes, especially during the pre-application stage.  

Each document will have its own page and set of questions consultees can provide feedback on. We encourage everyone; residents, community groups, businesses and developers to share their views.  

The consultation launches today and will run until 11.59pm, 21 April 2024.
